Air France-KLM, the airline company, reported its best-ever quarter this summer, experiencing increased ticket demand that led to higher profits. The group's revenue reached €8.7 billion,
marking a 7% rise compared to the previous year.
Between July and the end of September, the airline generated €1.3 billion in earnings, which is nearly one-third higher than the corresponding period last year. The company stated that the increase in ticket prices helped offset the rise in fuel and staffing expenses.
The airline's capacity has now reached 94% of its pre-pandemic 2019 levels. It anticipates that the remaining effects of the pandemic and travel restrictions will have disappeared by the next year.
