The French government considers luxury goods giant LVMH a source of national pride but acknowledges the frustrations expressed by its CEO, Bernard Arnault, over the country’s tax policies,
a government spokeswoman said on Wednesday.
Arnault stated on Tuesday that LVMH was exploring options to expand production capacities in the United States, highlighting what he described as a "wind of optimism" there in contrast to the "cold shower" of France.
The spokeswoman emphasized that recent tax increases were temporary and reassured that the government remains committed to fostering a pro-business environment. Photo by Libre de Droit - Domaine Publique, Wikimedia commons.
