Football legend Ronaldinho has opened his first restaurant near Geneva, Switzerland. The restaurant, named "R10" after his iconic football shirt number, serves burgers.
Ronaldinho arrived for the inauguration in Châtelaine on Sunday, posing for photos with a woman in an elaborate Brazilian carnival costume. The event attracted a large crowd of fans, as reported by the Keystone-SDA news agency.
Throughout his illustrious career, Ronaldinho won the World Cup with Brazil in 2002, the Champions League with Barcelona, and the prestigious Ballon d’Or in 2005.
After retiring from football, Ronaldinho ventured into music, recording rap tracks with a group. In March 2021, he and his brother Roberto de Assis were detained in Paraguay for entering the country with false identity documents. They spent over 30 days in prison, were released on bail in April, and returned to Brazil in August. Photo by Darz Mol, Wikimedia commons.
