ISU Tulcea specified that the message was sent to the population in 8 localities: Luncavita, Grindu, Isaccea, Ceatalchioi, Chilia, Somova, Pardina, and Văcăreni.
On September 7, the National Committee for Emergency Situations (CNSU) decided to adopt protective measures for the population in areas on the territory of Romania neighboring the Ukrainian localities of Reni and Ismail, as well as to issue RO-Alert messages by ISU, at the notification of the Ministry of National Defense, regarding the risk of falling "elements belonging to combat equipment used in the conflict."
"The Ministry of National Defense is establishing protection spaces for the population at the local level in the localities of Plauru and Ceatalchioi, as well as at the level of other localities with a small and very small number of inhabitants, established at the level of county emergency committees," CNSU decided further, after fragments of a drone were found in the Plauru locality area following Russian attacks on ports in the Odesa region, and a projectile pierced the roof and ceiling of an annex of a residence in Chilia.
