TAP Air Portugal is set to bolster its flight offerings to Brazil, with an increase of 11 weekly frequencies, bringing the total to 91 flights per week originating from Portugal.
The cities of Recife and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil will witness the most significant expansion in TAP's services. Recife, the capital of Pernambuco state, will see its weekly flights rise from seven to ten, while Rio de Janeiro will experience an increase of two flights per week, going from 10 to 12.
In addition to these Brazilian destinations, TAP will enhance its operations to São Paulo, Belém, Brasília, Natal, Maceió, Porto Alegre, and Salvador, each benefiting from an additional weekly flight to and from Portugal.
"With 91 weekly flights during the peak summer season, directly connecting 11 of Brazil's major capitals to Lisbon and Porto, TAP reinforces its presence in the market, offering an enhanced product for customers traveling between Brazil and Europe."
USA Flights
Apart from Brazil, TAP will extend its operations to other destinations, including Africa, where the Mozambican capital can anticipate an increase from three to four weekly flights next summer.
In North America, TAP will augment its services from Toronto, Canada, to 13 flights per week and from San Francisco in the USA, which will see an increase from five to six weekly flights during the summer peak.
In Europe, Italy will be a focal point for expanding operations. TAP plans to add another daily flight to Rome, resulting in a total of five daily operations to and from the Italian capital, amounting to 35 weekly frequencies. Photo by Catarina Madureira, Wikimedia commons.
