Bulgaria is aligning itself with a growing list of European nations by implementing a ban on cars registered in Russia from entering its borders. The Bulgarian Border Police have confirmed that
this restriction will be enforced starting next Monday.
This decision follows in the footsteps of other European countries such as Finland, the Baltic states, and Poland, which have already barred vehicles registered in Russia from crossing their borders. Norway is also set to implement a similar measure on Tuesday. These actions are consistent with the guidelines provided by the European Commission in response to Russia's aggressive actions in its war against Ukraine. Photo by CeeGee, Wikimedia commons.
