In his Sunday address, Pope Francis passionately advocated for the establishment of humanitarian corridors to provide assistance to those enduring a siege in Gaza. He also reiterated his plea

for the release of hostages held by the militant group Hamas.

During his weekly address to the congregation gathered in St. Peter's Square, the Pope expressed his deep concern, stating, "I strongly implore that children, the sick, the elderly, women, and all civilians be shielded from becoming victims of the conflict. Humanitarian rights must be upheld, with the utmost priority in Gaza."
