Poland's Ministry of Family, Labour, and Social Policy has announced that the country's unemployment rate remained unchanged at 5.4 percent in February, mirroring the figures from the

previous month. According to official data, approximately 846,500 individuals were without jobs across the nation by the end of November, reflecting a decrease of 18,300 compared to the previous year.

While the state-run Statistics Poland agency (GUS) had reported a slight uptick in the jobless rate to 5.4 percent in January from 5.1 percent in December, the European Union's Eurostat statistics agency offered a contrasting estimation earlier this month. Eurostat's data, derived from a different methodology, indicated a modest unemployment rate of 2.9 percent in Poland for January, positioning the country with the second-lowest rate among the 27-nation bloc.
