Extreme weather conditions, featuring powerful winds and heavy rainfall, have resulted in the cancellation of numerous flights in Denmark, especially at Copenhagen Airport and Aarhus Airport.

A considerable portion of these affected flights is managed by SAS.

Copenhagen Airport has reported that out of a total of 750 scheduled departures on a Friday, 101 flight departures had to be canceled, with delays ranging from 30 minutes to an hour. Despite the adverse weather conditions, SAS had canceled more than 50 flights but aimed to maintain operations for over 70 flights by employing larger aircraft.

Aarhus Airport has also felt the impact of these cancellations, primarily affecting flights to Stockholm, Oslo, and Copenhagen. Travelers are advised to keep a close eye on airport websites for the latest updates regarding their flights.
