On May 26th, 2024, the new Danish King, Frederik X, marked his 56th birthday, celebrating the occasion with his family.

King Frederik and Queen Mary appeared on the balcony of Frederik VIII’s Palace at Amalienborg Castle, accompanied by their four children: Crown Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent, and Princess Josephine. Joining them was the former Danish Queen, Queen Margrethe.

Both Queen Mary and Queen Margrethe chose bright pink dresses for the celebration.

The Danish Crown Prince completed his undergraduate degree in political studies at Aarhus University, including a year at Harvard University. He later earned an MSc in political studies from Aarhus University and underwent training in all three branches of the military.
