Nazareth becomes the first municipality in East Flanders to receive the 'Sport Company Label 2023-2024' from Sport Flanders. The municipality has been recognized for its efforts to promote

good health among its employees.

The municipality of Nazareth organizes a weekly activity for its staff, which has a positive impact on the health of employees as well as the group dynamic. The activities help to build a stronger bond between colleagues, resulting in employees feeling fitter and better equipped to perform well in the workplace.

The 'Sport Company Label' is a recognition by Sport Flanders, with 110 labels already awarded to companies, municipalities and police departments throughout Flanders. The Nazareth municipal council is the first to receive this recognition in East Flanders. Sport Flanders aims to motivate and inspire everyone to focus on creating a healthy work environment.
