In an exciting offer this September, a total of 21,000 one-euro cinema tickets for independent films will be up for grabs across 34 cinemas in both Brussels and Wallonia.

The initial batch of tickets hit the market on Wednesday, marking the commencement of this year's "J'peux pas, j'ai cinéma" (I can't, I have cinema) campaign, organized by the Film and Audiovisual Centre of the French Community of Belgium (FWB).

Now entering its fourth year, the campaign is designed to allure audiences towards independent films and cinemas, champion Belgian cinematic creations, and provide a boost to local theaters. The FWB will compensate participating cinemas at their regular rate for each ticket sold.

Among the involved cinemas in Brussels are Aventure, Cineflagey, Galeries, Le Stockel, Palace, Vendôme, and White Cinema Docks. In Wallonia, the selected cinemas are spread across regions like Hainaut, Liège, Luxembourg, Namur, and Walloon Brabant.

The one-euro tickets will be released for sale every Monday at 20:00, and reservations can be secured until midnight on the day before the screening. The comprehensive program details are readily accessible on the campaign's dedicated website. Photo by Rroemers, Wikimedia commons.
